hey guys ..can anybody let me know if the courses on coursera are beneficial to add on to the resume ? when applying for admission to universities in USA ?

Some Coursera courses give mini projects so I think if you mention those projects, it'll make a better impact. See more

Hey! Unless you put those Coursera learnt courses or skills to good use, like projects or in any internship, it won't add much value to your profile as long as admissions are concerned. It may come useful in labs when the prof might require you to use certain software, but this comes after admissions. So as far as getting admissions is concerned, it may not add much value to your profile. See more

It helps you to get some knowledge if you have really done it . But on resume they just occupy space as universities hardly care about it. See more
