Can a Mechanical engineer do MIS from any of the top universities in USA ? Also will my branch hamper me after the graduation in job searching process ?

@VINAYJOSHI Thanks ! I completely agree with you . Also let's say to be on safer side , I'll do job in Comp/IT field , then after getting work experience of minimum 2 years will it ease down the admission process and help me get an admit for MIS in good universities ? See more

finding job after your graduation will completely depend on your skillset and nit in your degrees. If you have all skils employer wants then you will definitely fetch a job. See more

Yes. But, student applying for complete branch shift in top universities acceptance rate will be very very low. Try for some ambitious (top unis) n also for some moderate unis....since it's a complete branch shift commenting any unis as safe is not logical. Mention your reson as why you want to pursue master's in MIS in your SOP. See more
