Admit from University of Chicago, Illinois

Question

I have an admit from UIC. Read somewhere it is not a great college and accepts almost everyone. Is it so? #businessanalytics  #uic  #unitedstates

According to all ranking institutions, the University of Chicago Illinois ranks in the top 300. It's in Chicago - top 10 metro areas in the USA. Research opportunities are good. Students often compare the university and end up disappointed. Every university will be better in some way than another university and won't be in another way. If the university meets all your requirements then go for it. Don't listen to others. Instead of reading, get a 1st hand review from a current student for the pros and cons of the university. This will give you a better idea of the university. Also, even if the university acceptance rate is high, this does not mean you will not be able to succeed. If you want to know the exact enrollment data, every university has this info available on the website. Its called 'enrollment data', 'demographics'.  After having a quick glance on the website, master's enrollment is not that high, undergrad enrollment is being increased at a high rate every year. MS students do not need to be worried about this. FYI - many universities have a higher MS enrollment than UC, Illinois.
