CMU MISM vs NYU Tandon MS CS vs SFU Masters in Professional Computer Science(Big data)

Question

I have these offers, have accepted CMU as of now, though curriculum of all 3 are different. Not sure what I wanna do in future, but would like to know in terms of ROI, employment, and other factors. I have no clue of big data, however SFU's curriculum is focused more on the same, apart from some other domains. CMU's MISM is comprehensive, I am getting indecisive-if I should focus more on core CS or explore in MISM.

You should answer this yourself. Nobody can tell you what course to pick when they're all different. Go through the curriculum and pick what interests you.

Margi, if you want the best city life and enjoy student life... NYU would be a gr8 option. It is highly acclaimed and smack in the middle of activity aka The Big Apple.
CMU means your curriculum wud be challenging,  therefore more stress on you if you are not already having adequate prerequisite knowledge. But the connections and friends you make here will be the elite and the biggest bunch of hustlers and nerds. You will probably make it to a Maang company and get to work atleast for 3 years, where they shd be willing to file for your h1b.
Last but by no inch the least, SFU provides you with a professional degree that is completely industry serving and will hold you in good stead to get jobs at Canada. Although the jobs will by no means be equal to those in US and your peer group will also be less majestic, you will definitely live a chill life, no worrying about when you may be told to leave the job. Also, it can provide with a base to step into the US with a TN visa (although not as easily as I said it) which you can later ponder about.

So basically, if you are going to experience student life, cultural diversity and what not, I suggest NYU. 
SFU will surely not be a bed of roses to lie on but does guarantee the comfort of permanent settlement, and A1 cities like Toronto and Vancouver are very much comparable to US. So you won't miss much if u settle here
