Overview of PTE Exam for UK

Let's begin by taking a closer look at the PTE exam. There are different sub-parts within each of the three sections that you must finish. An applicant must be at least 16 years old and has to attempt the exam in 2 and a half hours.

The first segment you need to complete is speaking and writing together; you have 77-93 minutes to try it, and there are 8 sub-sections inside of it. The following reading portion, which has five sub-sections, lasts between 32 and 40 minutes. Listening is the last segment, and you have 45–57 minutes to finish it. The scores range from 10 to 90.

Like all other universities abroad, the UK has made it compulsory for aspirants from non-English speaking countries to have an ELP qualification. Although there are other such tests like IELTS and TOEFL, at present the PTE exam is equally gaining popularity.
