When to Register for Your GMAT Test?
While the GMAT is offered multiple times a year, providing flexibility to choose a date based on your schedule and available slots, remember that securing your preferred test center at the last minute is unlikely.
To avoid disappointment, it’s highly recommended to register for the GMAT at least 3 months before your desired test date. Early registration allows you to choose the best available center and time slot, maximizing your chances for a smooth and successful testing experience.
Rescheduling or Canceling the GMAT Exam
The GMAC allows test takers to reschedule or cancel their GMAT exam date before appearing, but additional fees apply. The closer to the test date, the higher the rescheduling and cancellation fees.
Canceling the GMAT Exam
Before the scheduled date, you can cancel your GMAT exam for a reduced fee of $80. However, this option is only available within the specified deadlines, and no refunds are possible after cancellation.
Reschedule the GMAT Exam
While you can reschedule your GMAT exam dates before taking the test, it comes with an additional cost depending on the timing of your change.
- For rescheduling more than 7 calendar days after your original appointment, you'll need to pay a flat fee of $50.
- However, if you reschedule within 7 calendar days of your original appointment, the cost jumps to a significantly higher $250.
