Visa Interview Experience:

The interviewing officer was a very polite lady and just asked for my passport and i20.

VO: Why University of Arizona?
ME: There are actually two primary factors behind the same. One, it has a perfect blend of Technical and Managerial courses which aligns with my interest.
Secondly, it gives me an option to choose my area of Specialization. (I was cut-off in between the second half so couldn’t complete the same)

VO: How many universities did you apply to?
ME: 8.

VO: And how many admits out of them?
ME: 6.

VO: Have you got any backlogs in college?
ME: No.

VO: How will you be funding your education?
ME: Both me and my father have a combined savings of Rs. xx Lacs and I also have a loan approved from Prodigy Finance (Forgot to mention the amount here and she didn’t ask either)

VO: Your visa has been approved.
ME: Thank you.

Suggestion: Just try to be confident and maintain eye contact with the officer at all times. This makes a lot of difference.
