Prerequisite for the admission of the study is: • First in Germany recognized university degree that qualifies for a profession of at least six semesters in psychology or a degree from a public or state-approved university of cooperative education in Psychology. • English proficiency of level B2 of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR), if English is not the main language of the applicant

They meet the essential professional requirements for admission to the postgraduate continuing education programme to become a psychological psychotherapist (Psychologische/r Psychotherapeut/in) or a child and adolescent psychotherapist (Kinder- und Jugendlichenpsychotherapeut/in) (according to Psychotherapeutengesetz - PsychThG), whereby, according to current administrative practice, the formal requirement for admission to the examination as a psychological psychotherapist or child and adolescent psychotherapist is a consecutive Bachelor's and Master's degree programme in psychology.
