Which university should I join? Please guide

I got admit for MS in computer science from Syracuse university , Drexel university and Pace university . Which will be the best option ?

Hi,

Coursework is of utmost importance here. Check which courses and electives relate to your domain of interest and pick those in order to fulfil your goals. I would suggest you to research and pick your choice based on factors such as academics, and course flexibility and see where will you be spending less on living. Also compare where will you get the most number of on-campus opportunities.

Syracuse CS is a good choice - Good location i.e Close to NYC and great alumni network. Academics, on campus opportunities and coursework at Syracuse is really good.

Drexel, Pace are not as good as Syracuse.

I would suggest you to go with Syracuse CS.

Also, reach out to the alumnis of the program of your choice, on LinkedIn, as some of them might reply to you. Additionally, you can go through the popular rankings websites such 'QS RANKINGS 2022', 'US NEWS RANKINGS 2022', 'TIMES HIGHER EDUCATION RANKINGS 2022' and 'Forbes US University Rankings 2021'. Also, you should consider the factors such as 'Admission requirements for International students (I am assuming that you are an Indian citizen), 'Cost of living', 'Year-round weather conditions', 'CPT & OPT opportunities that maybe offered by the university'. Also, you can contact the college representatives via the email id and/or contact number on the respective program page, department page or university website. you can either look for Syracuse or Pace because their qs rankings are quite similar. Other factors that you can consider are location, faculty, graduation rate, and job prospects.
