Hi,
Both Software engineering and information technology have different subjects. Reading through the course catalog might help you decide. There are might be some subjects that you might be interested in in 1 program but are not present in the other program. Stevens being in new jersey has more local opportunities than Cincinnati.  But the alumni of Cincinnati have also had a good career. The gap between local opportunities is shrinking due to work from home.
