Skipping the GRE test

Question

Hey folks,

I'm planning for ms in us for fall 2022. But, I haven't yet wrote my GRE. I'm thinking of skipping the GRE because of the time constraints. Can you guys please help with the decision based on my profile that whether should I skip the GRE?

Profile:
CGPA - 7.8
Experience - 40 months
TOEFL - 105
Research papers - None

Btw, I'm targetting few of the top universities that has been ranked less than 50.

It's better to get your facts checked before commenting on anything. The universities in abroad follows a much more holistical approach, unlike Indian education that gives more emphasis to cgpa and scores. Maybe, my experience can help me through. And who knows, if I succeed to get a good score in GRE, then that can also help me to get into atleast some of the moderate unis under 50. But, who is stopping you to take chances. Possibilities are infinite my friend.

Its better to write gre whatever the profile might be...or else options would be limited. Take some time like 2 weeks...prep for gre and give it .Then you have more probability of getting into top50.

dude even i know about "holistic" approach. i am telling with the experience of what i saw, yes no one is stopping u. pls do tell me if u get top 30 unis. more than happy

You can try for Universities which have waived GRE
