Prerequisites for Ms Robotics

Hey y'all! I've completed my BTech in Mech and Aero-Space Engineering and wanting to opt for MS in Robotics for USA. Can anyone guide me which way to start with to form my basis before entering the Robotics field, since I'm having a Mech background and ain't much into software. It's super confusing rn, any inputs will be highly appreciated 👍🏻
