I saw that MSc in Marketing or MSc in Strategic Management programs in Canada are usually research

I saw that MSc in Marketing or MSc in Strategic Management programs in Canada are usually research based degrees. While I am intrigued by the courses that are a part of the degree program, I can't help but to wonder what are the options if one does not wish to pursue a career in Academia or research for PhD any further? Will a student graduating with either of these degrees be able to find normal jobs (not research based) in the marketing/consulting/strategy field?
